ABOUT US: We are Eddie & The Defiantz, a dynamic and tight-knit metal band out of Jacksonville AR. We have established ourselves by playing intense, original music with a love for playing live shows. Our influences range from thrash metal, punk, and modern metal, and we’re looking for the final piece to help us complete our sound.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Technical Proficiency:
- Proficient with playing metal rhythm guitar with some soloing skills.
- Be capable of quickly learning and performing our music with precision.
- Have an ear to properly EQ your instrument and sit well within a mix.
- Team Player:
- Support and assist in achieving the band’s goals.
- Contribute creatively to the songwriting process and overall vision.
- Ability to fit in and get along with band members.
- Reliability and Communicative:
- Be dependable for band practices, gigs, and other functions.
- Currently, we rehearse on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
- Maintain clear and open communication with band members for smooth coordination.
- Quality Gear for Live Shows:
- Own professional-grade equipment suitable for live performances and studio recordings.
- Ability and willingness to utilize in-ear monitors as needed.
- We have a travel trailer for gear transport / assist with load out/in.
- Shared Commitment:
- Band earnings are re-invested in the group to fund further band activities and costs.
- Willingness to split your share of band costs when necessary, including merchandise and rehearsal space rent.
- Understanding that a band’s success requires a collective effort and requires a significant commitment to and from all members.
